I went in January and a couple of the lakes were the perfect light pink that looks so good on Instagram photos. My friends and I are probably going to opt to skip them and visit more cenotes close to Valladolid. Even Valladolid is at least 2 hours away. Since there are multiple lakes, each will be in different stages of harvesting.
