The price is great and a couple thousand under budget but had a hard time checking all the boxes at a higher price. Anyone have experience with. Check out the Playa Maya hotel, right on the beach in the center of town. We've stayed there twice and would go again! I live here and can verify that it's quite swanky. Had friends stay and they loved it. But I believe it's all-inclusive, which is nice when you're on the resort.
